On August 1, 2026, Sruthi Mohankumar presents her Kuchipudi arangetram — her formal solo debut and the culmination of years of dedicated training.
The arangetram (literally "ascending the stage") marks a dancer's transition from student to performer. Across the evening, Sruthi will present a traditional margam — the classical sequence of items that showcases rhythm, expression (abhinaya), and devotion, accompanied by a live Carnatic orchestra. She presents this recital under the guidance of her guru, Keerthana Jothiraman.
